Fascia plays an important role in the support and function in our bodies because it attaches to every muscle, bone, nerve, artery, and vein, as well as the heart, lungs, brain, and spinal cord. It is one continuous structure from head to toe.
When we have trauma to the body because of a fall, car accident, whiplash, surgery, poor posture, and repetitive stress injuries, we know that these problems will effect the body by restricting motion in the fascia.
